Today Kaj O'Mara from KCRG came to preschool to talk to the kids about the weather! He used showed us an old weather station that used to be on top of the KCRG building and how it was a rain gauge, a thermometer, and wind speed and direction gauge! He then talked about how in Iowa we get to experience all of the different kinds of weather from rain to snow to tornadoes. We then talked about how to stay safe in severe weather. It was a great visit! Our picture from today will be on the news tonight at 6pm and then again on the morning news tomorrow!! :) Remember to check it out!!
