Fire Station Field Trip

Hello! Today was our field trip to the North Liberty Fire Station! We got to meet Captain Chris and he walked us through how to stay safe at home. Captain Chris gave the kids 2 things for homework tonight! 1) Check to see where the smoke detectors are at and then if they are working. 2) Figuring out where you meeting spot is in case there ever is a fire at your house. He also took us on a tour of all the things that are kept on a fire truck. We got to see inside each compartment on the truck and saw where they store their hoses and tools that they use. All of the kids then got to sit in the truck! The kids all got junior fire fighter stickers and a bag of goodies! It was a good field trip! Here are some pictures from our day!
