Rainbow Fish

Today we read the book The Rainbow Fish and talked about how the rainbow fish started the book off by not being a nice friend because he didn't share or talk nicely to his friends but learned how to share and be a nice friend by the end of the book. We made 2 charts today one of what a good friend does and the other of what a bad friend does. We came up with lots of examples for both! Here are some pictures from today!

Friends

Today we started our week on how to be a good friend. We talked about what we like our friends to do and what we didn't like our friends to do. We read a book about how sharing makes better friends and then for art we started a friendship tree! We will add two more kids tomorrow to our tree and then it will be complete! Here are some pics from the day.

The kids were so excited to bring their toys to school and did an excellent job of sharing their special toys. Center time flew by when the kids could play with their toys!! We also luckily got to play outside today before the rain hit!! We enjoyed the fall like weather!! Have a great weekend and Go Hawks!!
