Wilson's Apple Orchard

Today was our first field trip to Wilson's Apple Orchard in Solon! The kids were so excited to finally get to ride in the vans and go! The biggest excitement of the day was of course the tractor ride! We got to see a lot of apple trees and some of their pumpkins! We even got stuck in the creek! But luckily we got Bessie (the tractor) moving again!! It was a beautiful day and it was a great field trip!! Here are some pictures from the orchard!

Wilson's has dwarf apple trees that don't grow very tall. Its the way that they were made!! 

We got to taste test 3 different apples, Honeycrisp, Gala, and McIntosh. 

This is the first year that we ever saw cats at the orchard! The kids absolutely loved them and the cats were super sweet and enjoyed the kids just as much!! 

The kids each got to pick their own apple!!
