Happy Birthday Leo!!

Hello!! I hope that you had a fantastic long weekend and enjoyed your extra day off!! The kids did great today even with the little change to routine. We celebrated Leo's birthday today!! His real birthday was yesterday but he was super happy to celebrate with us today! He brought in a yummy snack that the whole class enjoyed!! Thanks Leo!!  Today we started our alphabet theme. I always find that it is a nice little refresher for the kids who have already had one year of preschool and a nice intro to those kids who haven't. We talked about the difference between uppercase and lowercase letters and then read Chicka, Chicka, Boom, Boom. The kids really enjoyed the book and wanted me to read it again! :) For art we made our own alphabet trees with all 26 letters! They are hanging on the wall in our room for you to stop in and see!
